You and writing?

It was love at first scribble.  

 

And there’s nothing you enjoy more than stacking pages, refining your process, and polishing your prose to perfection.

I get it. 

I spent years keeping my author dreams to myself because they seemed so far-fetched. I just couldn’t shake the feeling that there was so much I didn’t know…

Like how to boil my big ideas down, how to string those ideas together in a way that was structurally sound, and how to create characters and conflicts in a way readers would find compelling from cover to cover.

 As a result, I spent a lot more time dreaming and doubting than actually doing the writing I felt so called to do. 

But the space between where I was and where I wanted to be (getting paid to sling ink in my jammies for people who are as excited about my writing as I am) wasn’t the uncrossable chasm I imagined it to be.  

Thanks to self-publishing, all I needed was passion, discipline, and the right advice to make my dream of entertaining strangers with my stories come true.

Because I’ve been studying and practicing the craft for years, treating writing like it was my job long before anyone else believed it could be. 

 And doing so changed my identity and quality of life forever.
